Guidelines for Parents
At SSN School, we believe that a strong partnership between parents and the school plays a vital role in a child's success. We request all parents to kindly follow these guidelines to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
General Guidelines
- Ensure that your ward attends school regularly and arrives on time.
- Check the school diary, circulars, and notices daily.
- Encourage your child to complete homework and assignments sincerely.
- Maintain regular communication with the class teacher regarding your child's progress.
- Inform the school immediately in case of any change in address, contact number, or other important details.
Attendance and Leave
- Students must attend school regularly. Absence should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
- In case of absence, a leave application must be submitted to the class teacher.
- Medical leave exceeding two days must be supported by a medical certificate.
Uniform and Personal Hygiene
- Ensure that your child comes to school in proper school uniform.
- Personal hygiene, neatly trimmed nails, polished shoes, and tidy hair must be maintained at all times.
- Students should avoid wearing jewellery or carrying valuable items to school.
Academic Support
- Provide a peaceful environment at home for study.
- Monitor your child's academic performance and participation in school activities.
- Encourage reading habits and independent learning.
Safety and Discipline
- Teach your child to respect teachers, staff, and fellow students.
- Discourage the use of mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or prohibited items in school.
- Ensure that your child follows school rules and maintains discipline.
Parent-Teacher Meetings
- Attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings regularly.
- Discuss your child's strengths and areas for improvement constructively.
- Cooperate with teachers in implementing suggested measures.
Transportation
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of your ward.
- Inform the school in writing if there is any change in transportation arrangements.
Communication with School
- Parents are requested not to visit classrooms during teaching hours without prior permission.
- For any concerns, kindly meet the Principal or teachers during designated visiting hours.
Healthy Habits
- Send a healthy and nutritious lunch with your child.
- Avoid sending junk food, sharp objects, or unnecessary cash.
